Whilst looking through the Cisco Learning Network I came across a rather interesting post, which raised an issue I was not totally aware of. Turns out that you have 3 years from the date of passing your first exam to complete the CCNP track.

After writing my fGalleryTags plugin for WordPress I wanted to see how many downloads I get on it’s zip file. I searched around, but could not find anything that did what I wanted, so I decided to start work on my second plugin, DLoad.

After installing the wonderful fGallery plugin I was rather dissapointed that I could not insert the images into my posts. I had a play with using PHP to insert the images, but this got very messy, very quickly.
“There must be an easier way?” I thought, so I set about seeing how these plugins work. Using the SimpleTags plugin as a guide I set to work on fGalleryTags.

In an effort to try and get more traffic to codo I have decided to tryout Technorati. This works by allowing you to tag certain words in your blog, so that people can find these when searching on Technorati. Think of it as a Google for blogs.

In a drive to add more content I have decided to add a gallery to codo. The gallery being used is fGallery as this seems to integrate with Wordpress rather well and is very small. As there is no need for some of the complex features other galleries offer, this appears to be the perfect solution.

To prepare for a future change of ISP and to reduce the admin overhead of Codo, it has been decided to outsource the hosting of Codo. After looking at the various options we have decided to use 1&1 for the hosting.
1&1 offer a good value package, with domain name hosting as well as content hosting.
